We’re traveling today, Sunday, from Florence to Pisa to Cinque Terre. There is a regional railway strike from nine to five today, which has messed us up pretty good. It makes me wonder too, have unions been so weakened that they can only strike on Sunday? The standard of life here is much higher than in the states, and unions have a lot to do with that.
Don Progreba wrote number 242 in his ongoing series, why Republicans are always stupid and evil, and Democrats smart and good. Here’s a bit that triggered some thoughts:
I know that some people seem to believe that his military service makes Representative Zinke immune to criticism on questions of national security: the media has ignored his role outing Navy SEAL Team 6 after the bin Laden raid, his repeated, almost obscene efforts to distort his military record, his association with people calling for an armed revolt against the government, and his tendency to self-promote, when he should self-reflect, when it comes the the real costs of the decade of disastrous wars we initiated after 9/11.
Pogie can’t think properly, in fact, hardly manages a tweak above barely literate when it comes to matters of politics, wars, and human psychology. He can’t begin to question anything he hears or sees on the news. He doesn’t know how. He is so deeply brainwashed that he cannot bear to even read comments on his blog if they differ with his view. Even something so transparently fake as the bin Laden raid rests easy with his unquestioning mind.
Oh yeah, this man is a teacher. He’s writing a book about his success in the field. Yikes!
With 9/11, even as we now know of
- Impossible physics, impossible speeds, G-Forces, manuevers and impact dynamics;
- Lack of debris, lack of any physical evidence, no serial numbers;
- No DNA identification or bodies;
- False flight data recorder and no plane recovery identity done by the FAA;
- Documentation showing that Flight’s 11 and 77 did not take off on 9/11 and ACARS data that shows Flights 93 and 175 were still airborne after their alleged crash times;
- No passenger manifests, boarding cards, ground crew testimony no confirmed footage of any of the hijackers arriving at the airports or boarding the planes …
- And the fact that several hijackers were still alive after 9/11.
That is just a touch of the volumes of evidence that have been assembled so far, all safely hidden away in books and YouTubes. If you don’t seek it, you will not find it.
Evidence in favor of the official story is virtually nonexistent, the only thing favoring it is … wait! This is the key! The only thing favoring it is the statements of authority figures. Pogie is an authoritarian. That type always sucks up, always believes. They make good soldiers. And, like good soldiers, they no not question authority. They internalize it.
Which brings me back to Pogie’s words above. Military service ought to disqualify anyone from holding public office. Military people are, by definition, deeply indoctrinated. Pogie lashes out at Zinke for exhibiting the same tendencies as he himself shows.
Grandma Marie said things that I still repeat to this day: The wind goes down with the sun, paper never refuses ink, and we hate most in others what we see in ourselves. Pogie surely sees in Representative Zinke a mirror image if himself. He only knows to flail away at that image. Very interesting.
